Safety DJ Davis is the 10th player to commit to Wisconsin’s 2027 class but just the third defensive player. He had 19 Division I offers.

MADISON – While Luke Fickell and his Wisconsin football staff have scored big on the recruiting trail this year, much of the success has come with offensive players. On Monday, April 27, the Badgers got some help for the defense. DJ Davis , a 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety from Middletown, Delaware, announced his commitment to UW’s 2027 class on social media.

He is the 10th player in the Badgers class, but joins outside linebacker Isaac Miller and safety Dustin Roach, both from Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, as defensive players committed to the class.
