Juventus make alluring contract offer to Alisson Becker Liverpool secured Alisson to a contract until 2027 when Richard Hughes triggered a renewal clause in his deal. The move was seen as a formality for the 33-year-old - who when fit remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world. But there may be reason to believe that Alisson is closing in on the end of his Liverpool career having signed for the Anfield club back in 2018.
The £150k per week goalkeeper is wanted by Juventus - whose head coach Luciano Spalletti previously worked alongside Alisson at Roma. And according to a report in TEAMtalk Alisson is receptive to the idea of moving back to Serie A. Juventus make "2+1" offer to Alisson “The Brazilian is increasingly open to a move to Juventus,” the report reads.
The report also adds that talk of an agreement already being reached between the Italians and Alisson are wide of the mark. However it also spelt out that Alisson is set for a lucrative 2+1 deal (two years guaranteed plus an option of a third) in Turin. “The Serie A giants have already held discussions with Alisson’s representatives and have presented a contract offer to the Liverpool stalwart believed to be for two years with the option of a third,” the report reads.
The deal is going to be structured this way as Juve currently cannot match Alisson’s Liverpool salary - and so would spread his pay packet over a longer time frame. Alisson intrigued by Juventus move “ Alisson is ‘intrigued’ by the prospect of a move to Turin, with the appeal of playing in Italy and taking on a new challenge weighing on his mind,” the report reads. One development which could see a back-up goalkeeper arrive on Merseyside is the possible inclusion of Michele Di Gregorio in the deal.
