Arsenal are not placing a definitive timescale on his recovery but expect Havertz to play some part in their final four Premier League games as they chase a first title since 2004.

Mikel Arteta's side are also in the Champions League semi-finals and face Atletico Madrid in the first leg on Wednesday. Havertz has endured an injury disrupted season, missing six months because of a knee issue. Since returning in January, he has scored five goals in 19 appearances.
