‘Signed, sealed and delivered’: Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury penned for 2026
The two sides have reportedly signed a deal to fight later this year.

(Photo by Mark Robinson/Getty Images) | Getty Images After much discussion and theatrics, a fight for an all-British heavyweight collision between former world champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has reportedly been officially signed for this year, as reported by Sky Sports . Earlier today it was reported that Joshua will first take a tune-up bout first in July before turning his attention to Fury later in the year.
“Signed, sealed and delivered! AJ vs Fury is on! ” Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn posted on Instagram.
View this post on Instagram There’s been a lot of talk over the years of this fight happening, and it looks like it’s as likely as it’s ever been barring any major slip up by Joshua in his interim bout. Fury, of course, most recently won his last outing and called out Joshua, who was sitting ringside. Joshua refused to play to the cameras much in the moment but he and his promoter did say they would be on board with the idea of the fight but insisted they first put pen to paper.
No specific date or venue has been announced, but it has been announced the fight will take place at the end of the year and stream live on Netflix.
