This massive trade proposal sees the Golden State Warriors land superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo in a move that would make Stephen Curry happy.
Warriors trade idea involving $186 million All-Star would make Stephen Curry happy originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . Last summer was the summer of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The expectation was that Antetokounmpo would land with a new team after rumors swirled that he would demand a trade. However, none of that took place as he entered his 13th season in Milwaukee this past season, but it was not a pretty one. Antetokounmpo's season was marred by injuries and a lack of team chemistry, and it turned out to be a disaster for all parties involved.
That now begs the question of whether the Bucks would finally pull the trigger to trade the Greek Freak. If so, the Golden State Warriors are a team to look out for. Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus proposed this massive trade idea that details what a deal for Antetokounmpo would look like to Golden State.
"The Golden State Warriors receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo "The Milwaukee Bucks receive: Jimmy Butler, Brandin Podziemski, 2026 1st-rounder, 2027 first-rounder, 2030 protected first-rounder, 2032 protected first-rounder. " Pincus went on to elaborate on when this hypothetical trade could take place. "The trade would be agreed to by the Warriors and Bucks before the first night of the NBA draft on June 23, assuming Golden State doesn't win a top-4 selection on the May 10 draft lottery.
