The team is also working the phones to sign undrafted free agents, with that list growing as more players agree to head to South Florida.
But, as soon as mock draft season ends for one year, it begins for the next. With the 2026 Draft complete, it is already time to start looking toward 2027. SB Nation’s “way-too-early” 2027 NFL Mock Draft by James Dator was published Monday morning, and it gives us an idea of who could be on the Dolphins’ radar next spring.
Like many of the 2027 projections being published lately, Dator has the Dolphins, who started a franchise-wide reset this offseason, selecting very early next year – in this instance, first overall. While that would mean a miserable 2026 season for the team, it could make for an exciting Draft. Let’s take a look at Dator’s 2027 NFL Mock Draft : Dante Moore, quarterback, Oregon While Dator did not give a pick-by-pick explanation, he did provide a little input into the two quarterbacks expected to be at the top of the draft, Moore and Texas passer Arch Manning: Everything hinges on the upcoming college football season to determine which quarterback will be taken No.
1 overall. We know it’s likely between Dante Moore and Arch Manning, but right now it’s a total tossup between the two…One of the things that really stands out about the 2027 class is both its incredible strength at QB and WR, but also an astonishing lack of depth on the offensive line. There isn’t a single interior offensive lineman worth of a first round pick, and that could change a lot — but right now this is not looking like a good draft to need line help.
