Liverpool must move quickly if they want to sign 'relentless' star Liverpool haven't been their usual selves this season. The Anfield outfit have often been the second-best team on the pitch whenever they've faced their opponents. Mohamed Salah and Alexis Mac Allister are just two of Liverpool's players who have performed poorly this term with their shortcomings costing Liverpool a chance at adding any sort of silverware to their cabinet this term.

Indeed, they may just about scrape qualification to the Champions League but, if they want to get back to the top, they'll need to add some new faces to their ranks. Of course, the summer transfer window isn't even open yet but, it already feels like Liverpool need to get a move on if they want to sign one of their rumoured targets during the upcoming summer transfer window. Inter Milan want to extend Denzel Dumfries' contract Denzel Dumfries was linked with a shock Liverpool move during the January transfer window.

The Anfield outfit were going through a bit of an injury crisis at right-back with Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones having to fill in as full-backs due to the several injuries sustained by the rest of their players who could play at right-back. This injury crisis forced Liverpool to explore the market with Dumfries and Lutsharel Geertruida being linked with a move. In the end, nothing came to fruition but with the summer window now just around the corner, rumours are starting to re-emerge but, this latest update from L'Interista makes it feel like Liverpool will need to pick up their speed if they want to sign Dumfries.

The report starts by saying that interest in signing the right-back still remains from England with 'top clubs' eyeing a move for him. At the moment, the Dutchman has a release clause but, L'Interista believe that Inter Milan want to 'propose a renewal' of his deal. This new deal wouldn't include a release clause and would practically guarantee that the 30-year-old sees out his career in the Serie A.
