After another fun week of the high school softball season, it's time to look back on the best performances. Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the Morris/Sussex Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page. Voting closes at 5 p.

m. Thursday. Tara Anderson, Wallkill Valley The junior first baseman drove in five runs during a pair of wins for the Rangers.

Anderson went 6-for-10 at the plate with six runs scored, five RBIs and four stolen bases. Anderson had a triple, three stolen bases and drove in five runs in a 23-0 win over Dover on April 20. Hayley Arigo, Randolph The senior infielder had six hits in a pair of wins during the week.

Arigo went 6-for-11 with 11 RBIs and three runs scored in victories over West Morris and Vernon. Arigo struck two home runs during a 7 RBI day in a 9-1 win over Vernon on April 22. Julia Beers, Whippany Park The sophomore infielder homered and scored four runs as the Wildcats earned wins over Butler and Pequannock.

Beers homered and scored three times in a 12-2 win over Pequannock on April 20. Jordan Hicinbothem, Boonton The sophomore catcher went 3-3 with two home runs in a 10-7 win over St. Elizabeth on April 20.
