Five arrested over Edinburgh derby disorder
A 15-year-old boy was among those arrested in connection with disorder before and during the match at Easter Road.
Five people have been arrested in connection with disorder at the Edinburgh derby on Sunday. A 15-year-old boy was reported to the relevant authority as one of three people arrested before the match between Hibernian and Hearts at Easter Road Stadium. A 24-year-old man was charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date, while a 32-year-old man was released pending further inquiries.
Two other men, aged 17 and 22, were arrested and charged after a pitch invasion during the match. They are scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date. The match saw Hearts win 2-1 over Hibernian after another frantic weekend in the title race.
