Falcons post-draft review: Atlanta adds six rookies to roster

The Atlanta Falcons left the 2026 NFL Draft with six new players and have since added over a dozen undrafted free agents. While these UDFA signings are not yet official, we expect the team to announce them at some point later this week. In terms of impact players, the Falcons appear to have found two in Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell and Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch.

On Day 3, the team drafted a few high-upside athletes, including Oklahoma linebacker Kendal Daniels, Washington defensive lineman Anterio Thompson and LSU linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. As for Atlanta's undrafted free agent class, fans will see a few familiar faces, such as Georgia running back Cash Jones and Georgia Tech wide receiver Malik Rutherford.
