Jonah Coleman called his shot before being drafted by Broncos
Jonah Coleman wanted to be drafted by the Broncos, and he 'spoke it into existence' ahead of the NFL draft.
New Denver Broncos running back Jonah Coleman had a pretty good sense of the team that was going to draft him. In a video that surfaced after being drafted by the Broncos in the fourth round ( 108th overall ) of the 2026 NFL draft on Saturday morning, Coleman is seen going up to a podium and saying, "With the 62nd pick in the 2026 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select Jonah Coleman, University of Washington, running back," as the cameraman cheers. Thankfully, Coleman was right about the team (but he was 46 selections off in his projection).
Coleman re-tweeted the video, saying he "spoke into existence" on his Twitter/X page: spoke into existence https://t. co/trB8zl2zk6 โ Jonah Coleman (@jonahcoleman8) April 26, 2026 Coleman was vocal about how much the Broncos impressed him in the pre-draft process . In a Yahoo interview before the draft, Coleman elaborated about Denver's plan for him.
"When a team has a situation or a plan, or something mapped out for you, like they literally had an idea mapped out, a plan for me, if I was to get drafted by the Denver Broncos , that's ultimately what you want," Coleman told Yahoo. "You want to be put in a good situation. It's not about when you get drafted, what round.
It's about what place you go, where you fit. " You can see the clip from that interview below. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ pic.
