Homegrown second-row forward Adam Scott signs a one-year contract extension to stay with Newcastle Red Bulls for the 2026-27 season.

The 24-year-old, who operates as a second row or back row, has played 17 games for the Red Bulls since his debut two years ago. The local lad will be part of a new-look squad next season, which will include 21 new players.

"I'm excited to be spending more time here at the club," he told the Red Bulls' website . "I'm keen to keep learning from everyone involved, as well as watching the team as a whole developing under our new management. " Newcastle are bottom of The Prem with four games to go, having lost 13 of 14 matches this season.
