Wisconsin kicker invited to NFL rookie minicamp

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have invited Wisconsin kicker Nathanial Vakos to their upcoming rookie minicamp. Vakos played for the Badgers from 2023-25. He appeared in 37 total games during that time, connecting on 34 of 49 field goal attempts.

The former Ohio transfer was 6-of-6 from inside 30 yards, 17-of-22 from 30-39 yards, 6-of-12 from 40-49 and 4-of-8 from 50-plus. He also connected on all 84 of his extra-point attempts. The veteran kicker is one of numerous former Badgers to get an NFL opportunity over the weekend.

Former Wisconsin transfers Riley Nowakowski, Skyler Bell and C. J. Williams were drafted, while Ben Barten, Vinny Anthony, Austin Brown, Darryl Peterson, Mason Reiger, Riley Mahlman and others signed as undrafted free agents.
