See who the Broncos pick in way-too-early 2027 NFL mock draft
It's never too early to begin looking ahead to the next NFL draft, right?
The 2026 NFL draft is now in the rear-view mirror, which means it's time to look ahead to the 2027 NFL draft! OK, looking ahead this soon isn't for everyone. A lot will change between now and next spring, but for fans and pundits who are already excited about next year's class, we're passing along a way-too-early 2027 NFL mock draft .
In his first 2027 mock draft for Draft Wire , Curt Popejoy has the Denver Broncos selecting Texas Tech defensive lineman Mateen Ibirogba with the 20th overall pick in the first round. Ibirogba (6-4, 300 pounds) started his college career at Georgetown, spending two seasons with the Hoyas. He then transferred to Wake Forest ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Over the last two seasons, Ibirogba totaled 22 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup, with most of that production coming in 12 games last fall. Ibirogba transferred to Texas Tech in January, and he's now entering his fifth season at the college level. The 2027 NFL draft will be held in Washington, D.
