The New York Yankees are calling him up, according to MLB. com's Mark Feinsand . The move is likely at least in part because Giancarlo Stanton is hurting with some right calf tightness.
It would be the first MLB action of the season if Dominguez gets into a game. He was a key contributor in 123 games in 2025 with 10 home runs and 23 stolen bases. This spring, though, Dominguez got squeezed out of a role.
The Yankees really had nowhere to put him. So rather than figuring out how to make space for the 23-year old outfielder, they sent him down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Dominguez could've moped, but he has played well down with the Railriders.
