The Chicago Bears added seven new draft picks and 12 new UDFA signings over the weekend, now is the perfect time to assess the roster and project who will make the squad for the 2026 season. It’s been quite the offseason for the Chicago Bears and certainly not the kind of offseason fans might have expected to see going into the second season under head coach Ben Johnson and his staff. Over the weekend, the Bears added seven new draft picks and 12 UDFA signings to the roster to boost the overall competition in all three phases.

Now, it’s time to assess the entire roster post-draft and project what the team could look like going into the 2026 season. NOTE: Players with an asterisk (*) are players that were selected during the 2026 NFL Draft. Players with two asterisks (**) were signed as undrafted free agents.

Bears post-draft 2026 53-man roster projection Quarterback (3) In: Caleb Williams, Tyson Bagent, Case Keenum Out: Miller Moore** Skinny: Despite all of the intrigue, Tyson Bagent survived the 2026 NFL Draft without getting traded . Which means, all three quarterbacks are set to return in Chicago going into the rest of the offseason program. The Bears love what Bagent and Case Keenum bring to the room behind Caleb Williams.

Running back (3) In: D’Andre Swift, Kyle Monangai, Brittain Brown Out: Roschon Johnson, Deion Hankins Skinny: The Bears opted out of adding a running back to the room this offseason and will enter 2026 with the same two-back combo that was among the league’s best. After letting Travis Homer walk in FA, I expected to see another addition. Instead, I’m giving Brittain Brown the RB3 nod over Roschon Johnson.

Wide receiver (5) In: Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Kalif Raymond, Jahdae Walker, Zavion Thomas* Out: JP Richardson, Maurice Alexander, Squirrel White** Skinny: This is a really strong WR room on paper, even after trading away DJ Moore. Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III will be studs while Kalif Raymond fills that veteran role. Zavion Thomas will be an exciting player with dangerous speed , both on offense and as a returner.
