Former Wisconsin and Iowa State offensive lineman Dylan Barrett signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent Saturday. Barrett joined a list of several former Badgers , including cornerback Nyzier Fourqurean, safety Austin Brown and wide receiver CJ Williams, to sign as a free agent following the 2026 NFL draft. The St.
Charles, Illinois, native arrived in Madison in 2020. 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals all considered the 6-foot-5, 320-pound lineman a three-star recruit from his class, and he received offers from over 10 Division I programs. After redshirting in 2020, Barrett appeared in 13 games over four seasons, a majority of which came on special teams.
The lineman, who committed while Paul Chryst served as head coach, elected to transfer to Iowa State after Luke Fickell secured the job in November 2023. With the Cyclones, he started 16 total games across two seasons, including 14 games at left guard. He logged over 300 snaps at the position in both 2024 and 2025, and he appeared at right guard at times as well.
Green Bay's offensive line room is headlined by Jordan Morgan, Aaron Banks, Sean Rhyan, Anthony Belton and Zach Tom.
