After a great week of high school spring sports, here are 20 nominees for April 20-24, 910Preps Athlete of the Week poll. Vote now.

High school sports are heating up as the spring postseason approaches. Both Freedom Christian's baseball and softball teams clinched the NCISAA Sandhills Athletic Conference regular season championships. Terry Sanford baseball earned its 13th of its last 14 conference titles in the new Tri-County Conference, while Gray's Creek grabbed a share of the league title along with Purnell Swett.

After several conference schedules concluded, here are 20 nominees to choose from in the April 20-24, 910Preps Athlete of the Week poll. Voting is unlimited and open until April 30. Please be sure to send a clear headshot photo (head and shoulders) to jfmoore@usatodayco.

Kayleigh Brewington, Cape Fear softball — Brewington hit four RBIs and scored three runs in a win over Terry Sanford.

Christian Burnette, Gray's Creek track & field — Burnette placed first in the boys' shot put throw with a 44-7. Delaney Daniel, Gray's Creek track & field — Daniel finished in first place in the boys' 300-meter hurdles with a 42. 55 time.
