Savannah Christian Baseball Team Sees Return of Senior Leadership and Freshness
Senior leadership returns, promising another deep playoff run.
A season that started with disappointment ended on a high note for the Savannah Christian baseball team as they look to build off their senior-laden lineup this year. The Raiders, led by ten returning seniors, faced Calvary Day in the Private School state championship series but managed to overcome them. With 10 players returning from the talented squad, Coach Jansen is confident that the Raiders will make another deep playoff run in the upcoming season.
The team’s senior leadership has been a key factor in their success this year. Players like Chase Boyer, who signed with South Georgia State and has improved his power hitting significantly over the offseason, are leading the charge. Senior Cardin Patrick, set to play for Vorhees University, is another veteran leader on and off the field, contributing as a reliable source of offense.
The Raiders’ pitching staff includes Griffin Graham (7-1 with 3. 00 ERA), Brodu Schuman (6-2 with 3. 15 ERA), Brian Hong, and Ethan Jones, who have also been key contributors on the mound.
Savannah Christian’s senior-laden lineup has given them a chance to build off their previous success, making it an exciting time for fans and players alike.
