Colbie Young brings Binghamton back to the NFL as the 140th pick
Binghamton Patriots star and Georgia wide receiver Colbie Young will gear up in black and orange this fall.
If there were any doubts about Binghamton High School's ability to create a modern football star, those doubts were laid down to rest on Saturday. Colbie Young, a former Binghamton Patriots star and University of Georgia wide receiver, was claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals via the New York Jets in the fourth round as the 140th overall pick of the NFL Draftโthe first Binghamton High School alum to be drafted in the 21st century. Despite being a huge Jets fan and holding New York close to his chest, having still based his Twitter account in Binghamton, he told the Bengals that he's excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the Cincinnati family and potentially learn from a wide receiver group that includes stars like Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
