Daniel Sobkowiz signs UDFA deal with Houston Texans
NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) – The greatest wide receiver in Illinois State history went undrafted over the weekend, but still found his way to an NFL contract. Danie Sobkowicz signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Houston Texans on Saturday, hours after the draft came to an end.
Sobko hauled in over 3,500 yards over his four years with the Redbirds as well as hauling in 41 touchdowns. Both are program records. He was instrumental in getting the Redbirds to the FCS national championship game back in January.
