Mark Gronowski signs undrafted free agent contract with the Dolphins
IOWA CITY, IA (KCAU) – With the NFL Draft over, several players who went undrafted are trying to find their own way into the NFL. One way is by signing on as an undrafted free agent, which is what former Hawkeye QB1 Mark Gronowski is doing with Miami! Gronkowski started slow last year, but finished strong, throwing for over 17-hundred yards and 10 touchdowns, while also rushing for 545 yards and 16 touchdowns.
He now looks to compete for a backup spot to Malik Willis in a QB room that is rebuilding after the departure of 6-year starter Tua Tagovailoa. Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
