The Kansas City Royals ย completed a sweep of the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday. Kansas City was trailing Los Angeles in the bottom of the 10th inning by a score of 9-8. WIth two outs and runners on first and third, outfielder Lane Thomas delivered a three-run walk-off home run to give the Royals the 11-9 victory.

The Royals are still just 11-17 overall this season, but the ball club took a step in the right direction at home this weekend. So, what did the Royals prove this weekend? Royals Can Win Close Games Close games were a struggle at times for the Royals to begin the season.
