Notre Dame loses backup DB Chance Tucker to North Dakota State
Notre Dame is losing a reserve defensive back.
Cornerback Chance Tucker is leaving the Notre Dame Fighting Irish . He's transferring to North Dakota State. Tucker has played for the Irish for three seasons, appearing in 14 games and making 3 tackles.
Tucker missed the entire 2024 season with an ACL injury and was granted a medical redshirt. Notre Dame will be losing a veteran backup, but the Irish should have enough depth to absorb the blow. Notre Dame DB transfer Chance Tucker ( @ChanceTucker7 ) has committed to North Dakota State, per his reps @jonm_salter & @josephtimpanodm .
He played in four games this season and has played in 14 in his career. https://t. co/x1PpaZbg0P pic.
