As usual, a handful of LSU football prospects were selected in the NFL Draft. Here's a look at the complete list.

Seven former LSU football stars heard their names called during the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. Mansoor Delane led the pack of Tigers with a No. 6 overall selection to the Kansas City Chiefs.

For the third-straight draft, the first SEC player taken hailed from LSU. Jayden Daniels went No. 2 overall to the Washington Commanders in 2024 and Will Campbell went to the New England Patriots at No.

4 overall last year. The Chiefs traded up to take Delane on Thursday. Two Tigers were taken on day two in the third round on Friday and four went on Saturday, the final day of the draft.

Three defenders, including Delane, from a unit that took a major step forward in 2025, are off to the professional level. Four players from the offense heard their names called, including Garrett Nussmeier. He was thought to be a Heisman competitor and potential first-rounder until an injury derailed his 2025 campaign.
