Some thought that would happen in the NFL Draft, with Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson being mocked to Washington. That didn't happen. But all offseason, there has been one player who has been consistently linked to Washington, and that has been Brandon Aiyuk.
While it has been quiet on that front lately, given Washington only took Antonio Williams in the third round, more is needed; a move could still happen. And CBS Sports' Bryan DeArdo thinks it should. "The Commanders know that the 49ers don't have much leverage and are likely waiting for San Francisco to release him," DeArdo wrote .
"The 49ers surely know Washington wants Aiyuk to pair with his former college teammate Jayden Daniels.
