Football: DJ Rogers, Devean Deal among TCU players to sign undrafted free agent contracts
Chase Curtis, Channing Canada, Joseph Manjack IV, Kevorian Barnes and Trent Battle all landed on NFL rosters.

DJ Rogers (Cowboys), Devean Deal (Seahawks), Chase Curtis (Jets), Channing Canada (Patriots), Joseph Manjack IV (Broncos), Kevorian Barnes (Giants), Trent Battle (Falcons) will all compete for roster spots. TCU had three players (Bud Clark, Kaleb Elarms-Orr and Namdi Obiazor) picked in the draft. Rogers recorded 34 catches for 319 yards and two touchdowns in a career-best season in 2025.
Deal, whose younger brother Markis currently plays for the Horned Frogs, totaled 99 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, nine sacks, five pass breakups, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble over his 26 games at TCU. Curtis played six seasons with the Horned Frogs, catching 36 passes for 413 yards and four scores in 40 games at TCU. Canada registered 81 tackles, five pass breakups and two interceptions in 38 games over three seasons at TCU.
Manjack IV, a transfer from Houston, recorded 44 catches for 579 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games as a Horned Frog. Barnes, who transferred in from UTSA, rushed 96 times for 443 yards and three touchdowns in his lone season at TCU. Battle played in 48 games over five seasons at TCU, rushing 127 times for 598 yards and eight touchdowns while catching 27 passes for 253 yards.
