Packers invite Josh Jacobs' younger brother to rookie minicamp

UAB RB Isaiah Jacobs, the younger brother of Josh Jacobs, is getting a tryout opportunity with the Packers at rookie minicamp.

The Terrells in Atlanta won't be the only story of brotherly connection coming out of the 2026 draft. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network , the Green Bay Packers are inviting UAB running back Isaiah Jacobs, the younger brother of Packers running back Josh Jacobs, to rookie minicamp as a tryout player following the draft. Isaiah Jacobs, who went undrafted, would need to be signed by the Packers following the minicamp to join his older brother on the team's 90-man offseason roster.

Over 20 career games at UAB, Jacobs rushed 161 times for 669 yards and seven touchdowns and caught 39 passes for 178 yards and another touchdown. He also returned three kickoffs for 56 yards in 2025. Jacobs transferred from Maryland after the 2021 season.

In his final collegiate game, Jacobs rushed 14 times for a career-high 84 yards in a win over Tulsa. Per Dane Brugler, Jacobs ran the 40-yard dash in 4. 94 seconds, hit 33.

5" in the vertical leap, covered 9-11 in the broad jump and finished the short shuttle in 4. 32 seconds and the 3-cone in 7. 58 seconds at UAB's pro day.
