The Philadelphia 76ers discuss the play of the bench unit as they move forward with their Round 1 series.

CAMDEN, N. J. -- The Philadelphia 76ers will need all hands on deck as they move forward in this Round 1 series with the Boston Celtics.

Whether Joel Embiid is able to return or not, it's still going to be important to get contributions from up and down the roster. The Sixers were on the wrong end of a lopsided bench score in Friday's Game 3 loss. They had only 14 bench points with 12 of those coming from Andre Drummond.

The Sixers were unable to get Quentin Grimes and Justin Edwards going as the two of them each went 0-for-1 on the night. Meanwhile, the Celtics received 35 points from their bench unit. The Sixers need to find a way to get Grimes and Edwards going from the perimeter.

"They can only take the opportunities that are there," said coach Nick Nurse on Saturday. "Like I said after the game, there wasn’t really that much that happened to find them in the flow last night. I would probably be more concerned about it if I thought, ‘Oh my God, we couldn’t get good shots.
