Injury Report for Game 4: Can the Houston Rockets Avoid Getting Swept?

Yahoo Sports

Key Rockets sidelined, including VanVleet and Durant. Can a depleted Houston squad defy the odds and force Game 5 against the Lakers?

On Sunday, April 26th, the Houston Rockets are looking to keep their playoff run alive while hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. After an extremely disappointing postseason performance up to this point, it might be the Rockets’ last game of the season. When : Sunday, April 26th @ 8:30 PM CT Where : Toyota Center, Houston Where to watch : NBC and Peacock (with subscription) Houston Rockets Injury Report:  Out:  Steven Adams (Left Ankle Surgery Recovery) Out:  Fred VanVleet (Right Knee ACL Surgery Recovery) Questionable:  Kevin Durant (Left Ankle Sprain) Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report: Out:  Out: Luka Doncic (Left Hamstring Strain) Questionable : Austin Reaves (Left Oblique Muscle Strain) With Kevin Durant likely missing his third out of Houston’s four playoff games this year, I’m starting to question whether or not the team even wants to win.

What’s the use? Pride? Maybe so, but I can definitely see a world where this team is already mentally and spiritually defeated.

It’s much easier to just lay down and call it a season. The alternative would be packing up and hitting the road again. To potentially get embarrassed.

Again. I guess Los Angeles isn’t the worst place to start your summer vacation. Heck, some guys might be staying there or catching flights out of LAX anyways.
