The Los Angeles Rams beefed up the interior of their defensive line with the selection of Alabama's Tim Keenan III in the seventh round. The three-year starter is a 6-foot-1, 327-pounder who tallied 5. 5 sacks since 2023 with the Crimson Tide.
While his frame is a bit smaller than some of the bigger defensive tackles, Keenan III will get to learn from a similarly-sized lineman: Poona Ford. The six-year veteran stands at 5-foot-11 and 314 pounds but played a huge role in shoring up the Rams' defensive front during his first season in L. A.
There's no telling if Keenan III will develop into a player like Ford, but he'll have great tutor with some great college tape to back up his skillset.
