Former New England Patriots pass rusher Anfernee Jennings is signing with the New Orleans Saints , according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Sunday. Jennings was a key rotational piece and spot-starter on defense for the Patriots before he was ultimately released this offseason. The 2020 third-round draft pick played in 75 games with 40 starts.
He finished his run with the team, recording 217 tackles, 7. 5 sacks, two forced fumbles and three pass break-ups. He was released by the team on March 11, which saved the franchise $3.
