While their picks down the board weren't anything overly note-worthy, their first two picks were surprises. The Ty Simpson pick in Round 1 was a stunner, but the Max Klare selection in Round 2 is worth noting. They already had four solid TEs on the roster in Colby Parkinson, Terrace Ferguson, Tyler Higbee, and Davis Allen before taking Klare.
But the Ohio State TE isn't the only TE the Rams are adding from the prospect pool this year. As Syracuse Football announced on Twitter/x , the Rams have also signed undrafted free agent Dan Villari, a TE who has run for 445 yards in his career. @RamsNFL," Syracuse Football shared on Twitter/x Saturday night. Villari is a fun addition to the Rams' offense. While he might not find the field right away, he's an intriguing depth addition who could be a long-term third option in the Rams offense once Higbee, Allen, and/or Parkinson are gone.
