The Denver Broncos came into the 2026 NFL Draft without their first-round pick after trading it to the Miami Dolphins for star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. Had they kept the pick, they could've had Denzel Boston, Jadarian Price, T. J.
Parker, Christian Miller, Zion Young, or Keldric Faulk. Waddle is great, but when solely looking at the prospects added in this year's draft, there's a clear star missing for Denver. That lack of a headliner is why ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.
