With the New York Giants ' 2026 NFL Draft in the books, the team will now turn its attention to the second wave of free agency to fill any remaining holes not addressed during the three-day event.
The Giants came away with seven players in the draft, addressing needs like linebacker, guard, cornerback and wide receiver. But a major hole remains at WR2 and New York didn't even come close to finding more help along the defensive line. Knowing that, the Giants should target these three players.
WR Jauan Jennings It isn't clear if they would have taken him if he was on the board, but the Giants missed out on Jordyn Tyson by two picks. Big Blue did grab Malachi Fields in the third round, but he's hardly guaranteed to make the kind of impact New York needs. Jauan Jennings had a down season in 2025 but was battling through injuries. He still scored nine touchdowns, showing his red-zone prowess. In the year prior, he posted a career-high 975 yards and six touchdowns.
