According to The Sun , Forest have identified Middlesbrough star Hayden Hackney to replace Anderson. Hackney has played a crucial role in Boro’s push for promotion this season.

He has started 38 Championship matches, notching five goals and eight assists in the process. His impressive performances have seen him handed the Championship Player of the Season Award. Aside from Forest, Hackney also has other Premier League admirers in Everton and recently promoted Coventry City.

United have seen a huge revival in their fortunes since Michael Carrick took over as interim manager. Sunday’s 1-0 win against Chelsea leaves the Red Devils on the brink of securing Champions League qualification. They currently sit third in the Premier League table , with eight points ahead of sixth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion.
