MILAN FUTURO 3-1 CASTELLANZESE
MILAN FUTURO 3-1 CASTELLANZESE Milan Futuro beat Castellanzese 3-1 at the Giovanni Provasi stadium in Castellanza as they bounce back to winning ways after last weekend's home defeat to Varesina . They responded well and reinforced the positive progress made throughout the season. Massimo Oddo's Rossoneri put out a composed performance against a tricky opposition despite their position in the league.
Magrassi was on top form, scoring two goals and producing plenty of quality on the pitch, while duo Pagliei and Minotti impressed at the back, stepping up in the absence of Zukić. Cappelletti was once again a constant threat down the wing. It took the Rossoneri just 15 minutes to score the opener thanks to Magrassi , before the hosts equalised from a penalty taken by Chessa.
In the second half, however, Magrassi made the difference by completing his brace to restore the lead with a powerful and clinical performance throughout. In added time, Branca put the game to bed on the counterattack. A solid all-round performance from Milan Futuro - strong in defence, clinical going forward, and able to manage the difficult moments against a dangerous Castellanzese.
The three points, combined with the draw against Leon, move them up to fourth place on 53 points , level with Vimercatese. Now attention turns to the final matchday against Vogherese where the Rossoneri will be aiming to finish the regular season on a high.
