The 2026 NFL Draft is over . Six former Texas Longhorns were drafted between the second and the seventh rounds. But next year, the Longhorns will be one of the biggest stories when the 2027 draft starts in Washington DC.
In fact, the first name called could be a certain UT quarterback. USA TODAY Sports is out with a "way-to-early' 2027 NFL Mock Draft. Writer Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz says there are four QBs that will be the focus all year to see which one comes out on top and is drafted first.
The quartet of quarterbacks is Texas' Arch Manning, Oregon's Dante Moore, CJ Carr of Notre Dame and Texas Tech's Brendan Sorsby. Who will be No. 1?
