Premier League Team of the Week – Kinsky, Bowen, Jesus Our best XI from the Premier League weekend is dominated by Nottingham Forest and West Ham after big wins for the relegation rivals. Goalkeeper: Antonin Kinsky – Tottenham Hotspur A really solid showing from the Czech shot-stopper, who has recovered well from his Champions League nightmare last month. Kinsky thwarted Adam Armstrong when required and showed confidence with his work throughout at Wolves.
Hurt himself making a last-gasp stop to salvage an important clean sheet and three points for Spurs. Right-back: Curtis Jones – Liverpool Jones picked up where he left off last weekend with another accomplished performance as Liverpool’s auxiliary right-back. He dealt well with Crystal Palace’s forward threat and was crucial to Liverpool’s build-up from the back.
A defence-splitting pass released Andy Robertson as Liverpool struck a second on the counter. Centre-back: Nikola Milenkovic – Nottingham Forest A monstrous performance from the Serbian centre-back who mopped up all danger at Sunderland. Milenkovic made a massive 15 clearances at the Stadium of Light and was a dominant presence in the air and on the ground.
Centre-back: Joachim Andersen – Fulham Fulham kept alive hopes of European football with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa. Joachim Andersen racked up the numbers defensively for Fulham, making seven clearances and winning every aerial duel he contested (3/3). There were some nervy moments, but this was a job well done.
Left-back: El Hadji Malick Diouf – West Ham There aren’t many better crossers of a football in the Premier League right now. Diouf might leave some space that can be exposed, but his forward qualities are right up there. The left-back created five chances in the win over Everton, with his balls into the box leading to the winner.
