North Carolina cornerback Marcus Allen signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent after a strong senior season.
North Carolina cornerback Marcus Allen has signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent. Allen joins his cornerback partner Thaddeus Dixon , who signed with the New York Giants. Other Tar Heels who went undrafted but signed with teams are offensive linemen Austin Blaske and Chad Lindbergh, who signed with the Los Angeles Rams.
Allen started all 12 games as a senior in 2025, finishing the season with 36 tackles, including 29 solo stops, the fourth most on the team. He led the Tar Heels with eight pass breakups and added two tackles for loss, with one at UCF and half stops at Wake Forest and NC State. He had his best game of the year at NC State, recording a season-high seven tackles and a pass breakup, and also turned in a strong performance against Clemson with five tackles and a PBU.
