Miller Moss and Caleb Williams unite again with Chicago Bears
Caleb Williams will have Miller Moss as his backup QB again, now in the NFL with the Chicago Bears this summer
It will be a USC Trojan family reunion in Chicago. Former Trojan quarterback Miller Moss will rejoin Caleb Williams in the Bears ' quarterback room this offseason. The Bears, as soon as the NFL draft concluded, signed Miller Moss as an undrafted free agent.
Miller Moss entered USC as a freshman in 2021, and Caleb Williams entered USC with Lincoln Riley in 2022. The two quarterbacks worked together at USC from 2022 to the conclusion of the 2023 college football season. Caleb did not play the bowl game for USC in the 2023 season to let Miller Moss get an opportunity to shine after being the backup.
He did just that. Moss was 23 of 33 passes for 372 yards and six touchdowns. Moss broke the Holiday Bowl game record for touchdown passes and set a USC record for most touchdowns in a debut.
Moss went on to be the USC quarterback after Caleb Williams was drafted to the Bears. Things did not pan out well for Moss; Jayden Maiava went on to replace him as the guy at USC shortly after. Miller Moss went on to Louisville and turned things around there.
