Real Madrid tell Como they’ll trigger Nico Paz buyback option -report

Real Madrid have decided to tell Como and Nico Paz that they will trigger their option to buy the midfielder back from the Italian team, according to a report from AS. Madrid’s option needs to be officially triggered by May 30th but Los Blancos have already made the decision to bring Paz back after what has been a phenomenal two-year tenure in the Serie A for the Argentinian midfielder. Paz will turn 22 years old next September and has a bright future ahead of him.

However, it’s not clear how he currently fits into Real Madrid’s system as his profile is similar to Arda Güler or Jude Bellingham’s. Either way, Paz could play some relevant minutes for the team next year, and he should be expected to compete for a spot in the starting lineup fairly soon.
