Former Wisconsin WR CJ Williams selected by Jacksonville in NFL draft

MADISON – CJ Williams ’ breakout season came just time to catch the eye of NFL scouts. The Stanford receiver caught more passes and had more receiver yards during the 2025 season than he had during his previous three years. Williams' play caught the eye of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who selected him in the sixth round of the NFL draft with the 203 rd overall pick.

He was the third former Wisconsin Badger selected in the draft, joining Connecticut receiver Skyler Bell and Indiana tight end Riley Nowakowski.
