Full grades for all the Steelers picks in the 2026 NFL Draft
The Steelers 2026 NFL draft was all over the place and our grades on all 10 picks prove it. Check out our full grades.
One of the most interesting and at times frustrating parts of the NFL draft cycle are grading out the picks. We all recognize that it is a minimum of two seasons before you can get a full picture of how a draft class is performing. But for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the 2026 NFL draft we put out these grades as a snap judgment sort of thing but not necessarily a grade based on their long-term potential.
First round) Max Iheanachor OT - Arizona State When it comes to Iheanachor, he can be a very good player and it still be a questionable pick. Both things can be true. Iheanachor has a ton of unrealized potential and if he does, then this pick is a huge win.
But if he fails to develop, this one could come back to haunt the Steelers. Grade: B- Second round) Germie Bernard WR - Alabama The Steelers traded up for Bernard based on his ability to do so many things on the field. Of all the players in this draft class, Bernard might be the guy who gets on the field first and has the biggest rookie impact.
The question will be how does head coach Mike McCarthy use Bernard and will they make an effort to get him the football? Grade: B+ Third round) Drew Allar CB - Penn State Allar will end up being the guy that makes or breaks this draft. You can rattle off all the things Allar does well but his sloppy footwork and struggles in big games could serious cap his ceiling.
