There were a few wobbles on the back nine, however, but Korda still ended the day with a 5-shot advantage, the largest 54-hole lead of her LPGA career. "I think Nelly's great for the game," continued Hull. "I think if we didn't have Nelly on tour, the tour wouldn't be in such a good position.
... She's got such a good game, she's like the all-American, tall, blonde hair. " View this post on Instagram Korda has played in the final group of every event she's played this season, finishing no worse than runner-up in her first four starts with a win at the LPGA Tournament of Champions.
She has lost to only two players all season — Lauren Coughlin and Hyo Joo Kim (twice). Hannah Green won four of her last five starts and admitted to being completely exhausted. "The year that [Korda] won so many row, I don't know how she continued to do that throughout the rest of the season, just because I felt so tired that I've had to take time off," Green said.
