The 2026 Draft has come to a close, and the Broncos have added some key players at much needed positions. So let us know how you think the Broncos did this weekend: Welcome to your 2026 Broncos’ Draft Class: No. 66 overall: DT Tyler Onyedim , Texas A&M At the end of the day, you have to keep your trenches strong, and this is the second-year in a row where the Broncos have invested a third-round pick along their defensive line.
Now, they need to continue to develop Jones and now Onyedim, and hopefully, one or both players can turn into starters and potential All-Pro players down the road. – MHR No. 108 overall: RB Jonah Coleman , Washington So, why did the Broncos draft Jonah Coleman?
It’s simple; they needed depth and insurance at the running back position. JK Dobbins, when healthy, is one of the better backs in the league, but unfortunately, injuries continue to sideline him. This happened last season, and the Broncos’ run game was non-existent without him hindering them late in the year and into the playoffs.
They needed to upgrade that room this offseason and add better depth, protecting themselves from that happening again. – MHR No. 111 overall: OL Kage Casey , Boise State You should always add to the trenches, and the Broncos have now spent two of their three selections on offensive and defensive line players.
