In those years, he was coached by NFL minds like Mike Macdonald, Jesse Minter and Wink Martindale. He played alongside Kris Jenkins, Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant, and provided strong run support in a rotational role to help his team win a national championship in 2023. A former four-star recruit from Detroit as a member of the 2021 class, Benny has played in five college football seasons and has shown steady improvement throughout his career.
He has 107 career tackles, starting 16 games and playing in 53. He is projected to be a 3-technique at the next level and should have no problem getting drafted, as he is currently projected to go in the fifth round. Michigan DT Rayshaun Benny deserves more love.
