New Rams WR CJ Daniels made some terrific plays at Miami, as evidenced by his impressive highlight reel
In the sixth round on Saturday, the Los Angeles Rams drafted a receiver, selecting Miami Hurricanes standout C. J. Daniels with the 197th overall pick.
Daniels began his career with Liberty, helping the Flames capture a 12-0 record during the 2023 season where they won the Conference USA title, while Daniels was named a second-team all-conference selection. Daniels parlayed that success into a transfer to LSU in 2024 and then to Miami in 2025. During his time with the Hurricanes, Daniels did his part to help Miami reach the National Championship game against the Indiana Hoosiers .
Some of his highlights include one of the best catches in college football last season, with his one-handed snag for a touchdown against Notre Dame being a standout moment, and the difference between Miami making the postseason over Notre Dame, instead of it being the other way around. Here are some of Daniels' best plays. Daniels hauled in 50 total receptions last season for 557 yards and seven touchdowns.
