2026 NFL Draft: Chargers pick OL Alex Harkey at No. 206 overall
The Los Angeles Chargers closed out their draft with another offensive lineman.
The Chargers selected former Oregon offensive lineman Alex Harkey with the No. 206 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. This marked the third offensive lineman selected by Los Angeles in this draft, with the others being second-rounder Jake Slaughter, fourth-rounder Travis Burke and sixth-rounder Logan Taylor.
Harkey started 14 games at right tackle for the Ducks in 2025. He was a part of a unit that was a Joe Moore Award finalist, allowing just two sacks across 887 offensive snaps. Across 1,855 career collegiate snaps, Harkey only allowed five total sacks.
While he only played at right tackle during his time at Texas State and Oregon, Harkey best projects at guard at the next level. This article originally appeared on Chargers Wire: 2026 NFL Draft: Chargers select OL Alex Harkey in Round 6
