A summary of the Bengals' very eventful trip to the 2026 NFL draft.

The Cincinnati Bengals took a rather balanced approach to the NFL draft , getting started on Day 2 with some defense, then addressing long-term roster concerns. Of course, the Bengals initially sat at No. 10 in the draft order before trading the selection for Dexter Lawrence.

That blockbuster, generational exit of typical Bengals behavior was an outlier around the draft, though. They stuck to their board, for better or worse, while attacking many of the expected positions. With the 2026 NFL draft complete, here's a look at Cincinnati's entire draft class and some notables for each.

Round 2 (41): Texas A&M defensive end Cashius Howell If there was a strange move for the Bengals, it was leaving their comfort zone when it comes to arm length and a few other measureables with Cashius Howell. But he was super productive in college and could help right away. Full analysis Reactions Round 3 (72): Washington cornerback Tacario Davis With Tacario Davis, the Bengals drafted a massive corner who could be a Tre Flowers-like tight-end stopper right away.

Otherwise, they will likely try to develop him as a long-term boundary corner. Full analysis Round 4 (128): Auburn center Connor Lew Connor Lew, were it not for an injury, might have never made it to the Bengals in the fourth round. He’s a possible long-term starter after the Ted Karras era ends.
